Training: What we do best

 

The core of services from J and F Consulting is our ability to educate the user. The following are various classes offered by our consultants.

Oasis DOS

  • Oasis Overview-This class gives the students the language and logic of the data flow from the gaming machine to the software.

  • Intro to DOS-Learn to use DOS to better maintain your Oasis DOS system

  • Computer Services Training (Oasis Overview is a prerequisite)-Students will be able to identify and use resources, tools and documentation available to them. They will also be able to use basic DOS commands to navigate the Oasis subdirectory structure and manage files.

  • Accounting (Oasis Overview is a prerequisite)-This course is designed for casino accounting personnel who are responsible for the daily slot audit. Students will become familiar with audit terminology and procedures. The will have an opportunity to practice the typical steps necessary to perform a routine daily audit, which includes identifying and resolving common variances. Training will be done on the Jackpot/Fill program in as how it relates to the Slot Audit and the auditors.

Oasis Windows

  • Crystal Reports (Certified Crystal Trainer)-Design custom reports using advanced features of Crystal. Learn Oasis database structure.

  • SQL Querying-Learn to use the SQL Query Analyzer to pull data from Oasis Database.

  • Slot Marketing-Learn to effectively and accurately view and record player data for marketing.

  • Floor Procedures-Learn correct, accurate and efficient procedures for the slot floor. Compliance issues discussed.

  • Pit Procedures-Learn to utilize your Table Games Management software. 

  • Table Games Audit-Audit table games information and documents to produce daily statistical reports.

  • Cage Procedures-Learn how the cage interacts with the pit, as well as cage ticket handling procedures. Compliance issues discussed.

  • Hard Count-Instruction in hard count procedures. Compliance issues discussed.

  • Soft Count-Efficient and effective procedures for cash and ticket handling by Soft Count. Compliance issues discussed.

Ticketing

  • Ticketing Overview-Examine the flow of ticket data from printout to redemption.

  • Floor-Procedures for handling ticketing in an environment where ticketing is new. (Also can be used as a refresher course)

  • Cage-Understand and use proper methods for handling ticket redemptions and balancing cage cashiers.

  • Soft Count-Proper ticket handling and count procedures.

  • Audit-Balance and audit tickets. Troubleshoot ticket drop variances.

Spintek

  • Spintek Overview-Learn maintenance of your Spintek system, including adding, moving and removing machines.

IGT Ez Pay

  • Ez Pay Overview-Learn ticket audit procedures, floor handling, cage redemption and soft count procedures for the EZ Pay system.

Soft Skills

  • Communications-Module designed to help employees to interact better with customers and other employees.

  • Presentation Skills (Train the Trainer)-Become a dynamic instructor that can hold the attention of a class. Effectively teach without seeming to. 

  • Customer Service Skills-Enhance your customers experience by enhancing your employee's customer service skills.
